Affiliate disclosure

The main point

Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you buy through one, we may earn a commission. The price you pay does not change. Commission comes from the seller, never as an extra charge to you.

What a commission does and does not affect

It does not change the price

You pay the seller’s listed price either way, whether or not you use our link.

It does not buy a verdict

We do not give star ratings, and we do not steer you toward a listing because it pays more. Comparisons follow the review policy, not the payout.

It does not make a claim true

A seller’s claim stays labelled as a claim. Commission has no bearing on how a spec is described.

It does not guarantee the product

Fit, feel and durability vary. We cannot promise a result, and a purchase is still your decision.

How you can tell

• Affiliate links are identified near the link or in a visible note on the page, not hidden in a footer.
• Older pages that gain an affiliate link later are updated to say so.
• This page is linked from the site so the arrangement is easy to find.
